For centuries, composers have been sharing with us their truths through music. In this programme, Evoke explores the beauty inspired by the truths of some 20th Century composers. Frank Martin’s Mass for Double Choir, selections from Benjamin Britten’s ouevre, including Sacred & Profane, and Mauersberger’s heart-rendering response to the WWII bombing of Dresden.
The Evoke Bar will be open throughout the evening, serving a range of refreshments.
